Transmission Transformation

Has anyone out there put an automatic transmission with over drive on a 76? Mine is the old three speed. Can't find anything that says it will fit a 76. Idealy I am greedy and would something I can just bolt on without major modifications..

Do a search for a 200R4. It will directly replace a TH350. However, you would likely need to get one that has been modded. Originally, these weren't very strong transmissions, however with the right rebuild kits and perhaps some stiffeners, it is supposedly able to work with up to 500HP engines.
