The acrylic roof panel on my car is in bad shape now and needs to be replaced. Has anyone replaced their top using Thompson Astro Tops?
If so, how has the replacement held up? They claim their product is superior to the GM roof.

I don't know what is wrong with your top,but my roof was peeling-bad a new roof panel as you must know is not cheap!Others may not fit well.I had an auto body shop repaint mine gloss black.now I can't see through it,but so what-it looks great.:beer

Roof has a million spiderweb fracture lines in the acrylic top

The sun and heat have taken their toll over the past 10 years. The acrylic has millions of fracture lines throughout. The top fits good no issues there but it looks pretty bad up close.

Thompson Astro Tops in Florence, AL will provide an exact replacement. The cost is $850 without a rebuildable exchange; $585 with rebuildable exchange. The outside looks black but from the interior looking out it is smoke gray.

Anyone use this company?

Here is a photo taken moments ago of the roof. :ugh

This is the rest of the car.
