Transverse Spring vs. Coilover

I am in the process of rebuilding the front suspension on my 74'. I have been looking at some suspension kits and quite frankly don't know what I want. I have seen some transverse front suspension kits that look pretty nice, but I don't really know too much about that type of system. Coilover Springs and tubular A-Arms are what I am used to seeing.

I was hoping you guys could share some wisdom. Here are the two kits I am considering :
