trickle chargers

Is there any other trickle charger that can be used in lighter or other outlet instead of using battery ? recommentions

I don't understand the question, instead of what battery.

You don't want a trickle charger, you want a battery maintainer/float charger.

I have a "Battery Tender" on mine. Doesn't hook into the lighter plug, but I have the pigtail which is permanently attached to the battery and then I just plug it in..... I do have to leave the hood 'popped' but no big deal.

If you were talking about where to hook up the maintainer unit, the power outlet could be used with the correct adapter, just make sure that the outlet is battery powered and not accy or ignition on powered.

I park my daily driver outside and back it up to the garage. My trunk light is battery powered, so I wired a jumper harness to it for my tender, run it out my trunk with the lid closed, hook up my tender and run it under the garage door.
