Question: Trunion replacement on outside mirror

Asked this on General Discussion no replies so Im posting it here
Does any body know how to replace the TRUNION for the mirror on the outside of the car, the TRUNION is the X looking piece to keep it from wobbling around

I replaced mine a few years ago, bought them from Mid America. If I remember correctly, directions came with them. The mirrors just snapped out, careful tho, there are wires attached to them for the heaters. Pulled the old trunions off, put the new ones in and snapped the mirrors back into place.

My mirror was rattling for a long time, the trunion fix was on my to-do list. I finally pulled the mirror off one day and the mounting screws were loose, I just tightened them back up and no more rattle.

Yep one screw loose and one totally gone, all better now.
