Finally got to registering over here also. Have a quick question on the correct oil pan for a 70 LS - 5 with power steering.
Was at the machine shop to install the oil pump pick up on sat. The machinist thought I had the wrong pick up so we compared mine to some he had in the shop from other big blocks. He had some bb vette oil pans with a longer sump & longer pick up tube, & extra baffling. After speaking with him today he's now thinking there were two different pans, shorter sump for P/S & longer sump for no power steering.
Figured I'd better ask for some help before I screw something up again
