Turn signal broke off!

Any 81 guys out there that have done this?...I'm doing this on the fly

Also the harness just unplugs under the dash, then you can pull the switch out.

Anyone know where I can buy the harness and the switch? The catalogs have the switch in there (I think), but it is not very detailed and fairly inexpensive if that is the right part. The only reason the turn signal lever broke is because it was always very hard to move. The stress on it finally caused it to break at the base. Maybe by replacing the switch, I won't ever run into this problem again! The manuals don't seem to break down this part of the car, and I hope I buy the right part. I have all catalogs (Ecklers, etc.) so if anyone knows the part #'s that would be great!

So it is a part that is not unique to just Corvettes? Amazing! I am going to the parts store today! Thanks for everyones input. Maybe I can drive my car with no problems for a couple of months when I finish this.
