Took the vette out for a drive and my turn signal lever broke off.
How much work is involved in replacing this? How was it attached? is there anything else i should look at doing at the same time?
I was planning on replacing the steering wheel and horn button assembly at some stage anyway to get it back to original. I'm guessing now would be the time to do this.

Try a a small pair of needle nose pliers grab on to the broken stem and pull straight out.

So it just pulls straight out?
Easier said than done. The stem has broken off flush. If I was to drill a small hole for a screw would that damage anything?
