To begin with my idle was always low and even lower in drive, well today it has been the lowest , so i turned it up in drive ( e-brake on ) till i had a nice easy roll from a stop sign sounds high with the exhaust flowing but an easy roll , when put in park has a high idle , but i can kick it down to shut the car off with a nice idle, also changed the aircleaner, the power steering also just got better by having the idle where it is, I'M VERY HAPPY TODAY!!!
I'm surprized after all the ****ING money i spent , my cousin would have gave it back to me where i SET the idle!!!, I can't wait till tommorrow morning and see how my COLD STARTUP reacts , i'm sure i'll be happy, and i'm also sure she's going to burn some heavy petrol, but this for me owning this car has changed some neg views i had, well NO more the 81 Corvette is a fine CAR vs a C4 , I think the C3 handles better taking a corner turn at a light , the steering is fun to drive than that of a C4 , i also had an 1984 Z51 coupe 48,000 when i bought it and sold it with 65,000 for $10,000 that car handle great too!! To all my fellow 81'ers what are your views on steering C3 vs C4 if you had the experience owning both models would be a plus to this Thread.

I have owned both. I highly agree that my C-3 was very much a driving experience, where the C-4 has been more of a "typical" driver. I feel as if the C-3 was somewhat unforgiving when it came to driver inputs, and if you are on a curving, hilly road at night AND you are tired....you pretty much have your hands full and would feel worn out after a longer trip. I think the C-3 is much more fun to drive. I love all the comforts in a C-4 though.

Yes your right , all the comforts started in the C4 series, totally different almost a sound proof ride compared, and a more secure feeling in the cockpit.
