While changing the joints in my half shaft I installed one it spins in the shaft I also noticed there was a groove cut in the bore from a cap maybe getting sideways while being removed you can push the new one in by hand slips in very easy how big an issue is this? who's got the best deals on shafts?

It should be snug and no spin!!! It will set up Ware and a Vibe in time!!! Replace the Half Shaft or have the end yolk on shaft replaced and balanced by a reputable Drive-line specialist!!!:upthumbs

I'm tracking down a vibe now, the joints come out pretty easy on that side now I guess I'll have to wait for tuesday to get one on the way

Its a big issue the U joint is pressed into the halfshaft. Then the retainer is placed in the grove. If you can put them in by hand something is wrong or you are very strong. The shafts come in two OD sizes 2 1/2 and 3 inch OD. Check ebay

I've got the 3" they did come out easier then the other side
