Hi How can I upgrade and keep my Z-51 suspension?
Eg: Bilstien Z-51 Shocks or Z06 shocks?
I want to keep the sport handling, but with just a little better traction if that makes sense to anyone. Thanks................. Dr C5 Corvette :crazy :eyerole

First thing to look at is your tires before you start changing other stuff.

ps:
I took care of that other thread for you!

Hi Mac, The Dealer is Replacing all 4 tires on Monday ( I have Z0-6 Rims on the 2000 FRC that I just bought with Goodyear super car F1 Tires 295 rears and 265 fronts) because it did'nt pass inspection here in New Jersey. It also helped that my customer ownes a State inspection station and he did the inspection and really checked the tires with a gauge. the dealer guaranteed the car to pass. The tires came in today at the Dealer they called me. How is that for justice (there cost $1200 + 4 hrs labor at the Chevrolet Dealer) :)

I'll bet the fresh rubber makes a huge difference in your traction. In many cases, we're in a rush to change things in the suspension when we need to look at the basics first, like tires.
