Upper Door Panel Gap (92)

If you look at this door panel, and its only a problem on the passenger side door, you will notice there is a gap. I tried taking it off and reseating it but the gap remains; all the connections are made, and there are no wires/connectors in the way.

What do you think I should do?:confused

I have a detailed mod I typed up and photos I can send you. I pop-riveted aluminum strips on the door panels to hang over the fiberglass brackets and used tool dip to keep the whole works from squeaking.

Send me an e-mail at pjhigg@comcast.net and I will send the text, and the close up photos. I did that last summer and it has been perfect ever since, in fact it is so solid my wife can close her door by pulling ON the door panel.

PS: I learned this from working aircraft.
