I just replaced my oil pressure switch, the hard way- by pulling the intake manifold. I got it all back together last night, started it up, let it idle, checked for leaks etc. I waited until the coolant was at about 180 degrees, and then drove off. It seemed to drive very well, with no rough running or stalling. The best thing was that the oil pressure guage did work!
I drove it about 10-15 minutes with no issues, purring like a kitten.
This morning as I pulled out of my driveway, a check engine light came on. I didn't have time to check it then, because I would have been late for my job.
I later pulled codes and they read: P0107 HC, from the PCM circuit, which matches to Low voltage, MAP sensor The other code was for C1255H, from the traction control system, and points to EBTWBTCM, "internal malfunction."
I can reset the storedcodes, but after one "key turn" the light lights again.
What did I do to to set off these codes? I'm guessing a vacuum leak, and probably the very small plastic vacuum line that is attached to tha back end of the manifold. This was very hard to connect.
Thanks for any help that you can send my way.
