vacuum lines on a 90

hey guys, i noticed that i have two vacuum lines coming out from under the charcoal canister on my 90 coupe, and they were not connected to anything. i joined them together for now, but does anyone know where they go? thanks for any help!

I have one connection that I can find under my canister it has one line with a tee with two lines into one.I took some pictures of my 90. The line on the bottom is difficult to see.

I don't think they are supposed to go anywhere.Is that not a vent of some sort? I know that when I replaced my cannister the new one didn't have them, but instead had a vent on the top of it where as the previous one didn't.

I've got the same deal on my 90 and can't find any ref in the FSM that says they shouldn't terminate.

Can't wait to get the car back together and take it to Gordon's school.
