Valentine 1 Bracket

I have been seeing a bracket for sale that mounts a Valintine 1 under the rear view mirror of the C5s. Has anyone tried it and let me know your feelings before I purchase one.

I wouldn't bother. I had gotten it from a bud a few years ago...didn't care for it and sent it on to someone else..


Suction cups work fine. IMHO

I bought it from Great Lakes Trophies as I said in the posting, so greatlakestrophies.com.....

It is just for the V1 and it does attach to the rear view mirror. I ran a cord up under the lip of the windshield molding (inside), down the passenger pillar, then under the carpet to the +12v connection under the floor. Perfect installation, I love it. I can easily remove the detector from the mount when I dont want to leave it in the car (winter storage for instance).

I went to Great Lakes site to look at the bracket that mounts to the visor tab,it is hard to tell if the mirror gets in the way. Can you tell me if the radar dector has a clear shot to the front...........

I've had the mount from Great Lakes on my AE and it works great. The suction cups are a pain because the V1 is in my field of view. With the mirror mount it is right under the mirror and out of the way.
