valve covers and breather

was wondering ..... Did 73 350/270 come with painted valve covers or crome? Second was breather black or crome...... any imblems??

Was there a '73 350/270? Wasn't the 454 a 270 HP engine for '73?

I believe the base small block & 454 had orange painted valve covers. The L82 were finned aluminum. I don't think chrome valve covers were available from the factory...
I'm no expert on the '73's so I could be wrong...

I've been doing my homework on the 73 (buying one soon) and the valve covers were painted (not chrome) and the breather I believe was black. Also, the engine combo's for that year were - 350/190 (L48), 350/250 (L82), 454/275 (LS4).
