This Torch Red 2015 Corvette Z06 convertible from Northern Virginia, with only 7,485 miles on the odometer was recently found on the Copart.com auction site with a Maryland - Certificate of Salvage due to vandalism with white paint.

Looking at the photos, it's pretty apparent that the vandal(s) clearly had an issue with either the owner, the car or maybe the Trump support stickers on the bumper?

The roof is ripped open, the side windows smashed in and a can, or cans of white paint poured all over the car, inside and out. You can see the lid to one of the cans resting on the windshield.

As you continue to look through the photos, you can't help but wonder if the vandal(s) was just a little angry. Take a look at how the convertible roof is ripped apart and it almost looks like someone went to far as to rub the paint into the canvas top.

Possible anger management issues?

With damage to approximately 75% of the car, and estimated retail value of $86,506 and a current bid of $22,100, we wish the winning bidder luck with this Corvette. Hopefully, the car can be restored and if possible, a lot of luck will be needed!

If I seen some body doing this to anybody's new Corvette.......I'm Sorry,I'd have to drill a .357 dia. hole in their forehead with my S&W Magnum Cordless Drill! :D

Sadly, a sign of the times.

This is a ever increasing series of incidents of vandalism. I'm always a bit scared where I leave my 50th coupe. I make sure I try to find a spot under a street light, but in hindsight that too, may be a mistake. I don't what you can do about this kind of "Quality of life Crimes" :ugh
