vanity mirror

vanity mirror lights didn't work till i spliced a wire , now they stay on all the time..help

Probably a bad switch. My switch was shorted out so I replaced it with a minature toggle and she owrks fine.

Carl.... generally it's the little tiny switch. I tied mine into the glove compartment switch. You have to open teh glove box to get the light to come on but at least that way I'll never forget to turn it off. Just close the door.

anybody know where I can get the two round plastic grommets that hold the vanity mirror to the visor? Mine are both broke so my mirror is now in the compartment behind the seat. Or if anyone knows another way to fasten the mirror to the visor I'm open for suggestions. Thanks.
