vapor lock

Does anyone know how to cure vapor lock? I know its when the fuel gets to hot in the carb, or TB, or what have you. But how do you fix that problem?

Not to be a smartass or anything, but you just gotta let things cool down. Then you find a way to keep your fuel supply cool so you don't have that problem.

By the way, fuel injected cars usually don't experience that problem because the fuel is constantly in motion. That is, the systems have a built-in return line to keep the gasoline flowing; you don't always need the amount of fuel that's being delivered to the throttle body.

yeah i figured that the fuel injection doesn't have that problem, but on a car with throttle body injection; might happen right? or do they also have a return line that prevents it, it has electric fuel pump.

TBI, the same as TPI, has a return line to the tank. Fuel is always flowing.
