Does anyone know how to cure vapor lock? I know its when the fuel gets to hot in the carb, or TB, or what have you. But how do you fix that problem?

thanx

Not to be a smartass or anything, but you just gotta let things cool down. Then you find a way to keep your fuel supply cool so you don't have that problem. ;)

By the way, fuel injected cars usually don't experience that problem because the fuel is constantly in motion. That is, the systems have a built-in return line to keep the gasoline flowing; you don't always need the amount of fuel that's being delivered to the throttle body.

yeah i figured that the fuel injection doesn't have that problem, but on a car with throttle body injection; might happen right? or do they also have a return line that prevents it, it has electric fuel pump.

thanx

TBI, the same as TPI, has a return line to the tank. Fuel is always flowing. ;)
