Is there any way you can find any history on mid years with the vin number? Is it possible to order a window sticker and build sheet like Pontiacs?

However, for '66 and older, it's not possible to verify historical information based on VIN numbers alone, unless you have original paperwork or if the car were sold new in Canada. Gas-tank stickers began in 1967.

"If" your car was sold new in Canada, option details are available from 1964 to the present for most vehicle lines. Prior to 1964, information back to 1946 (all car lines) is limited to:

- colour
- trim
- production/shipping dates
- engine number
- quantities produced for sale in Canada
- selling Dealer (after approx. 1957)

Build date by VIN

My friend has a 1965, and wants to know what day/month it was made. The problem is he only had the VIN. 194675S115397. If any one knows the build date of the car please let me know.
