VIN Plate on door

Many years ago it appears that my vette was involved in a crash (did not own the car when this happened, so no idea when it did).

To repair , they installed a "used door" from another 81. My vette numbers match all around except the VIN plate on the door. Is there anyway to order the correct VIN for the car, either via Chevy/Corvette Museum?

The VIN plate is on the driver's windshield post. The sticker on the door is the vehicle certification label. If memory serves, you may be able to get a blank reproduction label off eBay. You'd have to type in your VIN.

I got my door stickers from Ebay. Had to send all the info and they typed the info on the sticker. Not the exact same stickers as OEM but almost.
