For those of you following along the Vintage Air a/c saga, I am including the most recent update. I had to buy a center vent section and housing as the non air cars only have a plate that says Corvette in this area. We have a great Corvette shop in town called Lloyd's. John at Lloyd's came up with a super nice factory a/c vent assembly for me.
I am using a stock a/c air housing as seen in this picture and cutting the upper portion off. The next picture is where I am closing off the bottom with good ole Liquid nails, and grafting the air duct tube to the vent housing.
This completes the dash and defrost vents. When it is all in the car it is a very tight squeeze.
