Has anyone tried to dye their vinyl door panels? My car was originally Bronze/Bronze, but a PO painted the exterior Yellow- the bronze interior doesn't go very well IMHO. I've replaced the seats with black leather, and have yet to do the carpet and door panels / trim in black...opinions?

Hi. Vinyl dyeing is very easy. I've done it many many times.
I buy it by the quart(PPG/Dupont) and spray it with a cheapo $35 touch up gun at 30 psi. There is no mixing/thinning to be done. It's straight out of the can into the paint gun. Just make sure the items are clean and oil/grease free - shoot the parts with even overlapping strokes - and you'll be amazed at the results. It dries quickly too.
Heck, that stuff is also sold in rattle cans too, but I don't use them, and probably wouldn't on door panels.

It's very very easy to do a good job!
