vortex rammer

hey I want to know if a vortex rammer is legal to put on your car, I also heard that it can make you car fail a smog check, I have a 1990 red vette it is not a zr1;help

WI has some strict emissions here. Have had a rammer on for about 3 years and no problems. I dont know why it would, your just pushing more cold air into the TB. Doesnt effect your AIR pump or emission system. I love my rammer and feel it has given me a good boost in power, but as I have said before, 2 types of people, those who love em, and those who hate em.
