My seats don't move anymore, I replaced the adjusters last winter and had a bit of trouble getting them to work but finally after removing them again and cleaning the contacts on the connecters they were working, except the drivers seat sometimes would start moving whenever it wanted. Real wierd when driving at 80 down the road, it did that several times. Now after replacing the battery neither seat will move. Am I missing something I cant believe just changeing the battery would make both seats stop working.:confused
thanks
Craig sr.

Both seats have working, Craig? That sounds like a fuse or relay problem to me- like perhaps the new battery overloaded something. Have you been getting any codes since you put the new battery in?

Both seats not working I haven't looked at it yet becuse all my free time has gone into my Ole Yellow Truck now that that is almost roadworthy I can spend a little time on the Vette who knows I may even wax it before cruise-fest ;)

I have a similar problem you might be able to help me with. My "memory" seats are supposed to adjust to the last place I set them. I have "easy entry" on so that I can get in with my bad back. The problem is that the seat attempts to go to the "memory" position, but falls short of the actual position. When I manually try to put it in the correct position, the seat moves, then stops, then moves, then sometimes stops. Once I manually make the seat go way forward and all the way back, it works as it is supposed to. It kinda acts like a loose connection, but it happens at the same place, and usually after it's been sitting for a week or longer. Do you have any ideas as to why it does this? If it's an easy fix, I would do it myself. Thanks - Ron
