WANTED: Front clip (D2D) for 79 Vette

Whats Happenin guys.

First post here, I am in the process of gettin a 79 Stingray from this guy I work with. It needs a front clip (complete, exc headlights), paint, and some interior. But for now, Im lookin for a complete door 2 door front clip for it, new or used, as long as its in good enuf condition to paint. I hate to waste anytime with you guys, but Im banking on if I can get a front clip for a good price, then Ima get it. Cheapest Ive found is $1k, granted its new, I dont wanna spend that much if I dont have to. So I might not be a serious buyer, but if someone here has one for sale for a good price, I will see if I can work something out to get it. I REALLY want this car, so iam try my best to get it. Hey nice to see some more GA folks here.This might be a coincedence but I was trying to help a guy out last summer try to find a front clip for a 79 that he wrecked.There is a guy named Mack Massengil in woodstock and Corvette country had a few also.They were both complete front ends for about 2500.I know thats more than you wanted to spend but thats your best bet.You can buy a new clip for about 900.Good luck.
