Wanted to show off BABY a little

I have the wife but no kids so BABY is my baby! i know i couldn't do anything about this but still it was upsetting. oh well. BABY got dropped off to the shop this morning and she is in great hands. I hope I'll see her soon and when i do she will look awesome again!

great seeing you @ Tony's this AM - enjoyed talking with you and you bu Anthony - BABY was looking GOOD, even though she did her the minor blemishes - Keith and Tony and all the folks there will get back in good health

great meeting you also and LADY is looking great! Thanks for the compliment on BABY. I'm sure BABY and LADY will have a good time keeping each other company for the next few weeks. Keith and Tony will get her looking great again - of that I have full confidence.
Can't wait to see the additional progress on LADY when I go back to pick up BABY when she is ready. By than LADY should have her body back on and probably be almost done.

Beautiful coupe Barry. So, what name should I give my '59? "Been naked for 33 years and probably will never be finished rolling pile of parts" just doesn't roll of the tongue like "Baby" and "Lady". Any suggestions?

I haven't had her around the block since the l/f brake cylinder seized up in '82 and I haven't started her since the battery died in '83. The good news is that she does have her own shop now (shared with the truck project and the wife's '81) and there is a plan in place to have her running and looking presentable by the 50th anniversery of the 1959 in less than 5 years. Man I can see the :eyerole from those that know me too well already. :L
