I have a 1980 Corvette. None of the warning lights work. Will replacing the printed curcuit boards make my warning lights work again? or are there other issues i should be looking at too?

I assume you mean the warning lights around the center console. Do all of the gauges and back-lights in the console work?

Yes, all the gauges and back-lights work. It is the warning lights (battery light, seat belts, low fuel, etc..) that do not work. I also have a problem with the battery staying charged, if that means anything.

for the battery check for loose connections(always better if the terminals are tight) then bring your altinator and battery somewhere to get it tested(i've made the mistake only taking one at a time asumming one was at fault). i would start there

Removing the center guage cluster is a PITA. As mentioned previously, check everything else first if you can. Do you have a shop manual?

I don't have a shop manual yet, but Christmas is coming. I just bought the car the end of September and have made a list of things to be done and a list of things I would like for Christmas. Funny how those two lists look pretty similar.

It means it's time to replace the battery or you have a constant drain on the battery. Check the vanity mirror to make sure the light isn't staying on.

:)

The light on the vanity mirror does not work, the wires are either broken or have been cut by previous owner.
