water leak

I have had water leaks when washing my car (spraying in grill over windshield wipers) coming from below my dash and I put some caulking around the area where I saw some cracks in below windshield wipers - firewall area, stop leaks for about a year then started leaking again. Any paint or sealant to fix this? Windshield frame, as well as lower portion of windshield has been repaired. Bob.

3M automotive undercoating in the spray can. I used it to seal the entire cowl on my '68 and have not had a leak since. Dries a dark brown but resembles the factory sealant. I shot Krylon semi-flat black over it to match the factory blackout.

Mike the area you sprayed was it the piece under windshield wipers?
