Water Pump Length??

Bought a water pump for my 1981 and it looks longer than the one that came off of it. The old pump is gone so I can't compare them.

Wondering if someone can tell me the length of the correct pump from the surface where it mounts on the block to the front of the round disk on the snout where the pulley bolts on.

Measurement from the block surface to the pulley surface;
Short: 5 5/8ths
Corvette: 5 13/16ths
Long: 6 15/16ths
The short and long pumps use a 5/8ths pilot while the Corvette uses a 3/4 inch pilot where the pulley mounts.
