I am emailing this forum from Australia hoping that someone can help me with my project which is a 34 Ford coupe.
I have just purchased a 94 350 with 4 bolt mains alloy heads etc,it also has the 96 Corvette anniversary injection set up on it. The engine was purchased here in Australia by a Chevy engine importer.
I would like some information on the water pump.
I would like polish the pump & would like to know how to remove the bearing & shaft that runs off the camshaft?
Also there is 6 outlets on the pump 2 radiator & 2 heater . There is also 2 more smaller outets on the pump which I would like to know there purpose & if they are required, if not I will plug them up.

Thankyou looking forward to your responses

sounds like an LT-1, the wife took the Impala to work tonite, but I will look tomorrow.
The LT-1 is a reverse cool engine it cools the heads before the block, the old style Chevy V8 coolent entered the block first, then the heads.
the waterpump can be removed without disturbing the shaft, I would replace the water pump they have a 100,000 mile timer on them to self distruct;LOL and if you are unlucky it will get the opti-spark also :L
