No....but I doubt its just the gasket...and you are also in the territory of "you might as well" ...If you are taking the pump off, you might as well put a new one on...yours is probably 20 years old...How do you know its just a gasket?

98% chance the pump is done...change pump, pull block plugs to drain all old antifreeze....if u dont want to do block drain, refill and drain three times with straight water before new antifreeze...best to get distilled water from grocery store--about $1.39 a gal locally

Thanks everyone!

Funds are tight so I was just gonna replace gasket. I can tell because I can actually see where it's spurting out. Also there seems to be some pressure in the coolant lines...logical assumption was that the pump was still spinning just not able to create the necessary pressure. I agree, I'll replace anyway.

It could be the water pump weep hole. When the bearings are going coolant will leak from the weep hole. Either way you should get a new water pump to save you a headache later on.

I agree with everyone else about the "might as well" philosophy. Hey, what about your timing chain. If you have the pump off, and you have high miles, might as well consider a new chain.

I have a water pump off a ZZ4 crate motor. If it will fit your application, it's yours.

Will it fit his application?
