Could somebody tell me why a new water shut-off valve still doesn't close compleetly? When it is under a vacuumload it should open but even without vacuum it's open a little. Is this normal or not? My old rusty one did the same and that's way I bought a new one.
Thanks!

Groeten Peter.

no reply since 08 ?

I'm working on that issue right now. Did you ever get yours working properly?

Hahaha, and I was thinking. Well a new topic in the L81 section. Is it my own topic :rotfl

But yes I did get it to work properly. Turned out the vacuumload in the vacuumline was to low to fully close the valve. Traced the problem back to the switch on top of the heaterbox (inside). A lever pushes against a vacuumswitch when the air temp lever is turned completely to cold. But the lever didn't push hard enough against the vacuumswitch to fully open it. I adjusted the lever and it works perfectly right now! I hope it helps, if not just let me know. But a little faster then after 6 years! :chuckle

Greetings Peter
