water stained and dirt rims

The stock rims on my car are pretty ugly. I've cleaned them up a little bit with some stuff i bought (sprayed on for 30 sec, rinse off with hose, dry quickly) and it did a good job. But my rims are still ugly and i dont have enough $$ for the nice chrome ones i would prefer, How exactly do you get water stains out ?

Try spraying on more of the wheel cleaner, then use a stiff toothbrush to scrub away at it. Just don't use the brush on your teeth later.

I used Mother's cream paste to clean them up. Lot of elbow grease, but did a good job.
