Does anyone know the address of the website that offers information about your gear ratio, rpm's ect. I've been to the site once, you can input your tire size, and engine and you can calculate what rpm your turning at what speed.
I just got in from an interstate run. I can only guess, but I think I'm going 80 when my speedo says 60.
Also, what would I have to get to recalibrate the speedo gear. I've gone from a 4:11 to a 3:36.
Thanks,
Rick

Cool web site! I think for your situation you will need to change the drive gear in the extension housing as well as the driven gear in the speedo gear adapter. Neither one of these gears should be over 10 dollars or so at your local Chevy dealer. They have the charts that specify the different gears. They could also say for sure about having to change the one in the extension housing. :)

GREAT! Thanks for the help and info.
Rick

Actually, click the Tools tab at the top of this page. We may have a calculator here that does what you're looking for.
