I am about to order 'Wet Okole' seat covers.

Anyone have any experience with them???
:confused

I don't have them in my vette but have them in both of my trucks, absolutely love them. The cloth seats under them are still brand ne looking after 130,000 miles.

Wet Okole

On one of my trips to HI I stopped by the Wet Okole shop in Honolulu. The lady working there gave me a little advise. They make covers for just about anything so have a good description of your seats. C4 sport seats or C4 standard seats isn't going to cut it. You have to know where all the bolsters are how many switch locations (for sport seats) ect. It seems over the years for a C4 they made many little changes. I was shown a catalogue with all the C4 styles and I swear there must have been 12-15 styles. Not having my car there I was trying to go off memory and I would have ordered the wrong ones. Notice I said ordered ... the covers are assembled in CA and then shipped to where ever. Also I was told to call and talk to them and I would get a better price than buying from the store there in HI, predominately due to the shipping costs.

The material is high quality thick neoprene (wet suit material) and the design side is pretty stout also. You shouldn't have any wear problems with these covers. A buddy has a set in his truck and his 80 lb Lab hasn't torn them up yet .... going on 5 years.

I've never had them in a car, but had them in a Jeep TJ for a while. With the roof always off, they faded really bad in the sun, and with a lot of off-roading, they actually held moisture under them, and the seats started to smell pretty funky.

Will be a lot different in a vette, but something to keep in mind.
