Stepping on the accelerator pedal? :rotfl

Sorry I couldn't help myself......I can't tell you why, but it is linked to the computer somehow. Maybe you should check all the grounds. C4's are pretty picky about there electrical supply.

thanx for the tip....
also i had turned off my asr when i noticed this...could be that i was really going faster...lol

On yours it's controlled by a electronic sensor that is gear driven in the tail shaft of the transmission!! 4 things come to mind, plastic gear on output shaft,(possible but not likely)plastic gear on sensor,(again possible but usually not) Sensor,(happens most likely) or Bad connection at the sensor plug! (Yep,I've found that on a few!):thumb

PS Oh yeah, could be a connection in the switching from Metric to English in the dash!!:D

why dont you move to los angeles and open a corvette shop.?...
or perhaps get your clone to do it..

Stick in a paper clip scanner, and see if you get a H72 module 4 (or 9)... Some codes will NOT light up SES.

VSS is a purple and a gold wire coming off the harness on the drivers side just about 10" from the ECM, near the ex manifold. The connector is right near there.
