What controls my ignition advance curve?

Well here we are again. The car has sat all winter, and I am ready to drive. Naturally I have the same problem. I am going to screw with it. My plan is to set the timing to 0 degrees with the EST wire unplugged. Anyone know how many degrees it will advance when I plug it in. I am also going to increase my fuel pressure a few PSI. I know this is not the best thing in the world to do, but I have to do something. I am thinking I might try some 100 octane fuel opposed to the 93 octane I have been previously running. This is no lead fuel. I could always put some 110 in there, but I dont want to make a habit of that. Does anyone know if a low lead fuel will hurt the motor?
