Really nice with red stripe. Don't need hashmarks IMO but if you do,then red would be my choice . Although saying that.......Red/white/blue is what my ride is , even paid extra to have eagle with flag in background on lic. plate. Do your thing thats my advice:gap

Impressive,Dude, Impressive, to be sure.

That stripe is really too:cool :cool

Marvelous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey

That really looks sharp, and l would have been the first person to say "are you crazy, leave it alone".

What color would you put on a torch red vette coupe? Also keep in mind that l have the smoke panels. Now l.m sorry that l don't have the solid to.

If you do not mind me asking, but in what price range did it cost you?

Alan

p.s. did l mention that your vette looks sharp, but not as nice as the rear ornament!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of advice

for and against adding blue stripes...I would give them a try to see how it looks. You can always remove them, and even if the blue did stand out a bit...it is still carrying a patriotic theme with the Red, White and Blue and perhaps that is what it would need to really accent it.

I saw a black car with GS hash marks for sale beside the road here in GA and I had to drive back to take a look, as it looked odd to me. The vehicle was not a Vette, but a Camaro that the owner had added the hash marks to. Even though at first look it seemed odd to me, it still made my first impression of the car evoke a sense of power. GS stripes command a lot of presense!

I like the paint scheme on your vette. Where did the girl buy her dress? Tastefullly done picture, btw.

Why no Honey, I don't think that stripe makes your rear look bigger at all. :eyerole :SLAP

Thanks for all the compliments. It's amazing how a little stripe can change the car so much. It seems like a new car.

The stripe cost me $400. they took the logos, gas lid, and misc. pieces in the middle but they didn't take off the bumpers or deck lid to save money on labor. It was either that or go with the $3000 estimate I got from another place. I told them I could get two blue stripes on the side and one white one in the middle for that price. :eyerole

The dress came from Delia's. They have a catalog but I don't know anymore than that. The girl is my girlfriend and I thanked her for taking all the attention away from my car.

I still haven't made up my mind about the hash marks. I like it now. I think when I get used to it I'll add the blue ones to see how they look. for some reason I couldn't find them online at eckler's or corvetteamerica :confused

Curiosity got the better of me...

No jokes about my feeble computer skills!

My Ecklers catalog only shows silver, red and black hash marks available. Maybe they could special order the blue ones.

Barry

Mid America Designs has them in black, red, green, white, or blue for $24.99. If you don't have a book you can find them on-line at madvet.com.

Skip the hash marks completely!!

I was really partial to the rear of the 94 vette until I seen that last pic. I had to change my mind.

I don't know about the stripes,

but it looks like you've definitely got the right rear end in that car.

So which came first: The Corvette or Girl Friend?

Actually, I met my girlfriend when I still had a v6 mustang.
that told me that she was with me for me and not my car...

But now I think it's the other way around... :duh

Are you sharing this with her??? She's gotta be lovin it:J
