What does the ZZ4 water pump look like?

I bought a water pump today at the 'Vettefest in Chicago for $25. On the water pump, they had a tag that said ZZ4 motor on it. The pump looked like it was barely used and I figured that I'd pick one up since my pump has 102K miles on it's life.

The water pump is black in color, that's the only external difference I can tell from my current pump.

depending on the routing of the serpentine belt some WP's run in reverse from the standard rotation. Corvettes usually run a "short" water pump I dont know which pump the ZZ4 uses. All small block waterpumps will bolt up, but legnth and rotation must be taken into consideration.

Hmm, I'll post a picture of it and the numbers that are cast into the pump. Good news is that it was only $25 so I won't be out that much if I doesn't fit my application.

The ZZ-4 engines use a long water pump. L-98's use a short water pump. So if it truly is a ZZ-4 WP it will not work on your car.
