???what does this switch do????

On my 76 Vette there is a black rocker switch mounted on a trim panel that is right next to the accelerator,the panel is part of the dash trim.(hides radio and wiring on the left side) Anybody know what this switch controls?

rear window defroster (a blower)

No blower, just grid on the window.
May the the conveerts had a blower but on the 76

My 76 does not have that switch but then I don't have any type of read window defrost either

Earlier years had a blower, not sure when they went to a 'modern' grid. No 'verts in '76 BTW.

You mean no factory verts, there are 76 verts, just not stock.
