If this generation of Vette is coming out in '05, then what do we know about it already? Any pics? Just curious as to see the future of Vettes and body styles. :)

:eek What do you think about it, Rick?

And, what's that talk about a camless engine!? How's that possible?

Camless engine? I hadn't heard that...

....electronically actuated valves. Not only will this give the HP version of the C6 infinite valve timing, but close-to, if not north-of 500hp.

that sounds very cool... but placing that in the hands of a computer is a little scary. I guess if it works for the aviation engines, it could work in a car?

Its already working in a car just not in a V8 yet but very close. I dont see this coming in the C6 but it will be out very soon.

Hmm...interesting. Seems like a lot is turning electrical. Good? I don't know. Sounds like and interesting thought, though.

Lots of pics - all speculative at this point. GM is doing a great job of hiding the C6.

Below is a web page I have compiled showing many of the guesses to date:

Virtually all the C6 speculation

Thanks for the link, David! It's interesting to see what's going to come out in a couple of years as far as the lineage of Vettes go. Thanks again! :D

Ive seen some bad pics of the C6, but theses are good! although i swear i saw a C5 and a RX-7 in the pictures of it, the rest looked good! (not that i think the C5 is ugly, it just looks like someone messed up or got lazy and just put it there)

One thing i dont like about all the pics is that they show the lights out, instead of the ones that come up... that is dissapointing to me... but over all the car has a nice sleek and new look to it... although i still think that the 96, 81, and 67 models are still the best looking of all, the C6 looks like it will be at home on a dark street during street racing, where it will blow rice rockets away with the help of a (supposed) cool 500 hp:bu.

Woah, IMHO i think i make a good reviewer! and i didnt even really resarch this stuff too much!
