Yep sure is. It's 93 in some states.

Here in CT shell V-power is 93 octane. Now the bad news; All of the gas sold here is 10% ethanol.

Yeah, same here. BUT, from what I understand, that isn't near the issue on my 2004 as is was with my 1989.

The only top tier gasolines in this section of North Carolina are Texaco and Shell. I use the 93 octane premiun in either brand exclusively.

Hib, from what I understand since we are in the Rockies (for instance we are over 6,000 ft here in Colorado Springs), using 91 isn't an issue with knock and ping. Is that correct?

You got it. The air density here is about 20% lower than at sea level. Even 91 is probably hurting you at this elevation.
