What Size Magnet to Reset TPMS?

I'd like to attempt to reset my Tire Pressure Monitoring System myself before I take it to the dealer so I'll know if I do have a bad sensor or not.

I've read these instrucions - http://www.corvettecavalry.com/techtips.html#tpms. They say you need to use a magnet to reset each wheel. My question is how big of a magnet do I need to duplicate the effect of the dealer tool?

I have used magnets from a bad computer hard drive with success. Also a speaker magnet works quite well.
