Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

What sort of occupation does everyone here have?

A Teacher. A middle school English teacher. 29 years and this is the last. The Red Corvette was to be a retirement present to myself, but I decided to work this year instead. Needed something to get me through this last year, so decided the time was right! Bought it the weekend in August before I had to be back to work. I always wanted a new red Vette since 1963!

Project Specialist, Senior-Traverse Coordinator
South Pole Traverse
US Antarctic Program

Budget, schedule, plan, hire, and buy all things Traverse. Follow supply chain from Supplier to California to New Zealand to Antarctica. Deploy to Antarctica as required to equip and outfit Traverse prior to launch.

Not your "normal" gig (just what is that, anyways?), but very rewarding and satisfying. Helps pay for the toys. ;)

In The Real World

I'm a heavy equipment operator, in my fantasy world, I do big smokey burnouts in a 1962 Corvette with a really strong small block in it.
