Question: What type of wheels can i use?

96 C4 LT4 I have original wheels 17" tire size is 275/40R17 98W.
Dont know what width they are presume there 9.5"
can I put C5's on or later?
can I put C6's
Or is there any knock off suitable others that will work/Chrome etc
If diferent size is used what happens to speed indication?
Is there any adapter plates or and hardware requires what is not safe?

Go to OE Wheels.com there you will find all kinds of wheels that will fit your vette I just got some for mine they are great

C5 wheels will fit but the rears are 18". You can compensate for this by using a 35 aspect ratio tire instead of the 40s, or you could buy two sets of 17" front wheels.
