What was your first build?

My first rebuild was a 283 out of a '66 Caprice 4-door that I "inherited" from my grandparents when I was 17. When I got it, the thing burned oil like it was going out of style. Once I opened up the motor, the thing was so full of sludge that all it needed was a good boil and re-assembly. I guess grandma and grandpa never fed much speed to their ride. :L
