What's driving the supercharger?

I've just seen an article for a Magnacharger blower. However, it looks as though the pulley or pulleys face the firewall. Is this thing driven by an electric motor? Note the following pic.

Found the pic you refer to. Also found the 43 pages of "easy to bolt on " instructions. Way above my pay grade...not to mention the $7K price tag!
