What's The Deal With Red Calipers?

Looks good to me...

Thanks Tom, my C-5 calibers are already red but my daughter wants her Pontiac G-6 done and thought my wifes Pontiac GTP would look good wth red calibers too. I really didn't want to disassemble everything if this brush on type looked good. sure would save a lot of time and work :ughBill :w
I've used the Duplicolor kit I have on about four cars now. Can see no brush marks once dried. I've had to buy new brushes each time rather than try to clean them up afterward. Be sure to use the caliper spray cleaner and mix / stir the paint well before starting.

Thanks for the heads-up and info Tom :thumb

UPS came today. Got the kit and it says to do all four calipers at the same time bc instructions say the paint doesn't stay once you mix the reactor w/ the paint.:confused I don't have four jacks. Any Ideas?

Just mix 25% of the total paint product per caliper? You will really like it when your done. Good luck with it. :)

One (1) jack and four jack stands or install an arm lift this week-end :L you've surely been wanting a lift anyway; right? Now you have a reason to justify it :cool!:

You didn't like my idea of installing a lift :L, do all four at a time then:cool!: Let us know how it worked out when you get it done.

Another Marketing Brainstorm....Will It Ever End?

On the other hand, red calipers on that beast makes perfect sense because it flows with the overall color scheme.:cool

Caliper Color Choices

Page 8 of the September issue of Vette Magazine outlines the updates for the 2012 Corvettes. One of the new choices will be your pick of red, yellow, silver or gray calipers.:cool
