Wheel Bearing problem

I've got a 2002 convertible and I've noticed whine/grind while I'm driving. I'm suspecting a wheel bearing and I noticed that the noise goes away when I make a right turn but not a left. That makes me think left side but I'm wondering which would be the probable culprit; front or rear?
